The Pan Pipe or Antara is a pre-Colombian instrument from high in the Andes Mountains. Its name, Antara, comes from the Quechua language (the language of the Incan people). The Antara is made by joining graduated lengths of reed, bamboo pipe, or cane, ranging in size from 3 to 32 registers.
