Silk Kantha wide scarf - Blue/Purple/Beige
Silk Kantha stitched scarves are made from old silk saris. The women at the Craft Resource Center stitching group visually inspect each sari before cutting. Two cut pieces of usable sari fabric are stitched together by hand in a "running stitch" with leftover cotton thread from the production of towels.
